Question
I started potty training my 18-month old daughter 10 days ago using Toilet Traing Without Tantrums as my guide. She has not made any progress to date. While I'm keeping positive and relaxed with her, I'm starting to feel a bit discouraged. I know I should stick it out, I know she can do it. I'm just curious, I guess, as to when we should be seeing progress. At what point should I be concerned if she doesn't seem to be catching on?
I was also wondering what is recommended for car trips while training. Obviously, we want to prevent her from soiling her car seat, but don't want to put a diaper on her. I do have cotton potty trainers for her naptime. Are those okay? I don't want to cause any setbacks for something so silly.
