Question
Hi,
I am wondering how much after school playtime - with other kids than their siblings-is appropriate for elementary aged children (aged 9,8 and 6). They are well adjusted and do not have any social issues at school, but there are no kids in the neighborhood. In order for them to play with kids other than their siblings, we need to schedule a play date. I know some people don't have any play dates, some do a lot, but I don't know what a good, practical amount is. I would like to keep them socially well adjusted as they are now.
