Question
What do I expect from a 7 year old girl?
My daughter does not finish her school work on regular bases. She may finish it one day but not the other. She may do some but not all. The teacher said that she looks around a lot and suggesting us bring her to a doctor.
She can finish her test fine. It might be too much distraction for her around the regular classroom setting.
we did do cognitive testing and her auditory processing is very high for her age. Is the higher than normal auditory processing has anything to do with the school work?
I am sure she understands what the teacher is talking because her test score is acceptable. She just can not perform very well in the school.
I read the book about a similar case but for an older kid. Can I try the seem thing for a 7 year old kid, like take everything away and stay in her room for a long time?
