Question
My daughter is almost 9 and my son is 4 years old. They were sharing a room until recently. I separated them because my son would not go to sleep. He kept doing things to make her laugh and they both wouldn't go to sleep for hours. I homeschool them and we do all of our extra curricular activities in the evening (church stuff, baseball, ballet, etc.) so it's impossible to have them go to bed early as a consequence. We get home around 8:00-8:30 and go to bed right away. No matter what I did...spank, take away toys, no TV, they would not stop. That's why I separated them. Then I found out my son was taking off his clothes, doing a naked dance and my daughter was laughing about it at night when they should have been sleeping. My daughter has also been telling lots of lies lately. I don't think there is enough space here to go into details....I am at my wits end of what to do with these two. Help!
