Question
Our 12 yr. old daughter (soon to be 13) wants to wear make up. She has bad acne and, although I have showed her how to clean her face and bought the treatments and creams, she is lazy about doing what needs to be done to treat/manage it. Her biomom lets her wear make up (we have 50/50 custody) and tells her it's okay and she looks "sexy". I'm floored!! Although a bit lazy, she's a good student and, when she applies herself, contributes to our family in terms of chores and helping out. Depends on her mood. I don't believe a child should be wearing make up, no matter what other girls in her class are doing. What's your take on how to take this?
