Question
What should we do about a snappish teen? What used to be a rare occurrence is now more common than not. We'll ask a normal question and she will bark back an answer like she can't be bothered with such interruptions to her all important teen life. She is dismissive and short even with the most innocuous of questions. When she snaps something back, we've tried, saying, "Let's try that again," but lately she'll respond to that in a falsetto overly sweet enacted reply. What we used to chalk up to occasional hormones has reared its ugly head with regularity. Suggestions?
