Question
We have been trying to potty train my son for several months now. I felt he was doing well, going most days without an accident and usually telling someone when he needed to go. He still wasn't "trained", but we were making progress. Now we have a new baby and he has regressed a bit as I expected he would. He is starting to refuse to go even when it is obvious he needs to go and he is not telling us he has to go like he use to do. He seems very distracted in his play and will pee in the middle of whatever he is doing. It doesn't seem to bother him at all that he wet his pants. I'm am just not certain how to respond to his accidents. We tell him in a clam manner that it isn't ok and bring him to the toilet to finish up. I know he needs time to adjust to the baby, but I also want to move forward, not backward with his toilet training.
