Question
I have a 6 year old daughter in kindergarten at a very small private Christian school. I have a very hard time getting her up and dressed every morning. Often times lots of tears and whining that she is cold, tired, etc. I am basically dragging her out of bed and getting her dressed every morning. Once she is dressed she wants me to carry her into the kitchen so she can eat her breakfast. As I write this I know it sounds ridiculous... What should I expect for her to be responsible for? Walk me through what she needs to do on her own and what is ok for me to help her with and how to carry this all out to make our mornings go more smoothly.
