18 Year Old Emancipation

Question

Our daughter moved to a different city at 18 to be a member of a ballet company. This venture was completely at our expense. After a year she decided she wanted to go to school full time, but stay in Nashville (very expensive). Then she wanted to move to a different apartment (for which we pay). We told her no, and my brother in law cosigned for her to lease. We do not have a good relationship with my brother in law and she knows this fact. This weekend she said some very hurtful things, after getting a smart phone (also at our expense). We gave her the option to come home with our financial help or stay in Nashville on her own. She handed us our car keys and walked away. I feel we did the right thing, but it has almost literally broken my heart. How do we proceed?
