Effective consequences-6/7 year old
My husband and I are looking for natural, effective consequences for 6/7 year olds. It appears that many parents use video games and television as consequences. We don't do either of those. The most television our children regularly watch is one to two movies on the weekend. I'm sure the answer will be along the line of find what motivates your child, but the natural consequences don't seem to work.
The biggest issues that we face are listening and respect.
