Question
We started potty training our now 27 month old and he caught on in a matter of days and has had very few accidents up until a few weeks ago. Usually he only goes #1 and just enough to soak through his cotton underwear and then he will tell me he's gone and I take him and put him on the potty and he will finish going. I stay at home with him full time and this typically only happens at home so it makes me wonder if it's more of a behavior issue. I tend to keep my cool and say that was a no,no and ask him where his potty goes and he usually responds "the potty". Not sure if a punishment or different reaction is needed. I don't ever make him sit on the potty aside from before nap and bedtime which he still wears diapers for.
