Question
My husband does not like it when our sons (now ages 7 and 5) visit my parents. They live several hours away, so each time the boys and I visit them (my husband does not come with us), it involves an overnight stay. My husband complains that the boys are too "wound up" when they come home after one of our visits. I believe that the benefits of spending time with grandparents who love them far outweigh the day or two of "winding down." (My husband's parents have both passed away, so they don't factor in to the situation.) What is your take on grandparent visits?
