Question
My son is turning 8 months in about a week and has had an ongoing issue with toys/objects being taken away from him. He will scream and cry for times ranging from 10 minutes to over an hour (those days are rough). I believe if he is going to fuss that much he doesn't need that toy/object back out of principal. He has done this for probably the last 3 months or so. I try not to engage and just put him down and let him fuss until he calms down or falls asleep...what ever happens first then he can go back to playing (if he is awake). Sometimes I try and do the ole' switcher-oo with an acceptable toy but that really doesn't work either. I do not want this to continue or get worse, and as he gets older it has seemed to intensify, what do you recommend?
