Question
Our almost 5 year old recently started a pre k program. He has been getting in trouble for hitting, kicking, and calling names (calling kids baby). We have never had these problems with him before. I am at my wit's end with the teachers calling and reporting on each instance, I'm terrified every time the phone rings. We punish him with time in his room and early bedtime when these instances occur but when we put him in his room he throws violent tantrums or just walks out. As opposed to locking him in or holding him in his room all night I don't know what to do.
