Question
My 3.5 yr old began preschool four weeks ago and has a rough time adjusting. He has been emotionally out of control and aggressive with other kids. After the first episode of hitting, biting and spitting, we kicked him out of Eden. He had three great days but now has regressed to aggressive behavior again. Each day he's been aggressive, we send him to his room. Yet, he has not shown any positive signs of improvement at school. He's even running out the door, chasing me after I drop him off. And today he bit so hard, he left teeth marks. Where is the line to be drawn between taking him out of school and continuing punishment? Is he just not ready for school? Should we fight through this? I just don't want any other kids hurt because my son doesn't have self control.
