Question
My son is almost eight years old and wets the bed. Actually, wetting the bed is an understatement, he floods it!
Four weeks ago, he stopped using the overnight "diapers", we communicated the goal of him waking himself up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and that he was responsible for changing the wet sheets and showering in the morning. He has had one dry night in four weeks. He does not fuss about these new responsibilities.
If he wakes up and is already wet, he changes clothes, places a towel over the wet part of the bed and goes back to sleep. This results in two pairs of soaked pjs in the morning.
What should be our next steps?
