Video Games

Question

I need more help in dealing with my question posted September 15. To my dismay I have come to find out that my almost 19 year old daughter was the one who started my now 12 year old son on the video game addiction road by not only providing him with 16 (yes 16 of the most violent video games), but was also taking his money and through her account downloading an additional 195.00 worth of M games into the xbox. I need to add that she was more than fully aware of the fact that i only allowed him age appropriate games and on limited playing time. My 17 year old son knew about it and provided him with a headset to enter the virtual world to play with whomever is out there. My 12 year old is living out his consequences (see previous question) with a good attitude, he knows he lied to me and he will learn a lesson never to be forgotten. I cut all the video games to pieces and smashed the xbox they gave him to pieces with a hammer and installed a lock on the basement door. My college sophomore (who lives on campus and her dad pays for everything) has to pay back the money she took from her little brother to me and it will be spent on new clothes for him. She and her brother now split the cost of a babysitter that I've had to hire for my husbands' and my Friday night date, since I no longer trust him with looking after his brother. Please help provide some insight to me if anyone can. What is the problem with this young adult/teen that would motivate her to be so devious? Also, my son is no longer allowed to use the car we bought for him for anything other than work until his little brother earns his way back to "the garden of Eden" which on my chart is a minimum of 3 months. I believe (the 17 year old boy) deserves a harsher consequence, since he still sits in his room playing video games and was the one busted for smoking weed and providing it to some friends. He denies that he still smokes (weed) I am COMPLETELY at a loss. Any suggestions will be of help.
