Question
My 7 year old grandson pitches a fit every day when he gets home from school about doing his homework. Last year he threatened to kill himself and his parents took him to a psychologist and he was pronounced non-suicidal. This year he is frustrated again calling himself the stupidest kid alive. Today he said he was going to jump off the back deck and he ran out there and put one leg over the edge of the railing. His distraught mom hid and watched ready to spring to action when he finally withdrew his leg and came in still screaming about having to do his homework. Any suggestions?
