Question
My husband won't allow our 17 year old daughter to date. She is a Junior in HS, straight A student, very involved in church and school activities. Of course, there is a boy - a rather brave one since he has tried repeatedly to ask my husband to date our daughter - husband won't speak to him. So, now we have Romeo and Juliet. He is a good kid, we've known his family our entire lives, good home, friendly people - so now it's embarrassing for both our families. Everyone who is familiar with the situation(including my 76 y/o mom and 21 y/o son) tells me I should ignore my husband and allow them to date. Please help, what do we do? He refuses to even discuss it.
