Question
Immediately upon being placed in the gated bathroom after having an accident, my child lies about peeing on the potty in order to get out. Do I let him out? It seems to defeat the purpose of placing him in there, but the alternative is to hover and point out that he is lying--which doesn't seem productive either. What do I do?
