John, we have many of your books and have heard you speak at "Flying Eagles" business conferences. Learning struggles is our issue. At the end of 1st grade my son's teacher and I discussed my son's possible learning disability. I agreed, so we were referred to a psychiatrist who gave the teacher and I a checklist to complete. He suggested ADD medication - no other testing, etc. We homeschooled last year, mostly successfully, but still with great struggles in math, writing, and just getting the work done. He is left-handed and very right-brain learner. He may have ADD, but I would like more testing. Suggestions? Do you know someone in Tuscaloosa, AL who does LD testing?
