Question
Our daughter is 4 and a half years old. About 9months ago she acquired the habit of sucking her thumb from a preschool classmate.Classmate is no longer in the school and she has continued the habit. We have broken the habit at home but as soon as we drop her off she puts her thumb right in her mouth. Her teachers have to ask her repeatedly throught day to take thumb out of mouth.
To make it worse she had a an accident where her front tooth was knocked lose a few weeks ago. The dentists has told her weekly to not put her fingers and thumb in mouth so tooth can heal properly. She still continues to do it.
help!
