Question
I have a 14 month old who loves to listen to music. During the day, he will use sign language to tell me he wants to listen to music and I will turn Pandora on the TV. There is no music video but he does watch the TV and dance (because the TV screen is blue with an album cover picture). I will usually let him listen to music for an hour and then we will turn it off to play with toys or read books.
I understand that letting children watch TV is not recommended. What about music? Or is this still hindering his ability to entertain himself?
Also, because there is picture (although it is not moving) on the TV screen, would it be better to buy a radio without any screen instead?
