What do you suggest to help a 7 year old girl to resist "mean girl" behavior when that's what she's seeing among her peers? Mean girl meaning whispering, sassy talk, exclusion, etc. We encourage her to find others to play with and ask the person to stop...whispering, etc. or to include her in their game. She is struggling not falling into the same behavior when feelings are hurt, while trying to do the right thing.
