Question
I have a 7 yr old son. He will do anything to get out of work. He has fallen asleep in the Kitchen while everyone went to bed because he didn't want to sweep and mop the kitchen floor (which is his regular job). I have 7 children ( 16, 14, 12, 10, 7, 3.5, 7 months) all of which do their chores fairly well except the baby of course. He is grounded to his room most of the time and can come out when he's ready to sweep and mop. Everyone helped pitch in to get the house very clean the night before Christmas, except him. His only job was to clean his room, which would have taken 20 min. I told him he will not open his Christmas presents unless his chores are done. Everyone opened their presents Christmas morning except him. We put his presents in our closet, which is where they still sit. His brother ended up cleaning the room a few days later. (They share a room and take turns cleaning it) He will live his entire life grounded unless I can figure something out.
