Question
On the recommendation of her doctor, we're trying to reduce dependence on, and eventually get rid of, our daughter's paci. She is 2 months from her second birthday and very, very attached, a nearly 24/7 paci user. We've started limiting paci-time to bedtime and naps, and our once relatively quiet and content little girl is now crying pretty much non-stop, until she gets her paci at nap and bedtimes or is picked up and held. Should we stay the course? Is there anything we can do to lessen the tears?
