The doctor says...

Question

Hello,

I have a 6 (7 in May) year-old daughter who is the oldest girl of three. She's very bright, articulate, caring, giving...you get the drift. As she's gotten older, she has started to disregard my instructions and just does what she wants. She knows it's wrong and will often tell me after the fact, but it bothers me that she does it to begin with. Even more bothersome is that she keeps repeating it! It's a blatant disregard for my and my husband's instructions. I've done John's charts in the past where they lose privileges; should I try that again or do you have a different idea? I'd love specifics!
