Question
I haven't allowed tv in 2 year old's life, and its been a wonderful thing. I recently started letting him watch a movie or two before bedtime. I admit I am dealing with a newborn and post partum depression and used it to get through a rough spot. Shame on me! Anyway, both evenings I allowed a movie my toddler stood in his room crying uncontrollably and throwing things. Obviously no more tv for my lil one! But it brings up a question. If he's going to cry for an half hour straight should I stand my ground and let him cry until he gets the point that it's bedtime? Or do I go up and calm him? Ah! Someone stole my sweet boy and replaced him with someone else.
