Question
My 11 year old son attends a catholic school where is has always done well. He started sixth grade this year and now has several teachers and an increased homework load that includes long term assignments. He failed history the first marking period due to not completing several homework assignments. He now has a F in his computer class also for not completing homework assignments. When I tell him no video games until his work is done he cries or yells, then sits and does nothing, which puts him further behind in his work. I did not micromanage him the first semester and he failed a class. How do I make him take responsibility for his work?
