Alternatives to ADHD Medication?

Question

I am currently located on Fort Bragg, NC on Active Duty. My wife has been convinced through friends that our daughter has ADHD. I have disagreed with this assessment but have entertained the doctors where she has taken her. I have taken the stance that 4 years old is too young to give what I feel as dangerous ADHD Medication to without trying alternative methods first (Such as the many tactics which you promote through the Books, articles and website) My wife was so insistent that she left after 16 years of marriage because I was not willing to drug our 4 year old daughter, which I feel there is nothing wrong. My daughter is now taking a stimulant similar to Ritalin and my wife has moved in with her parents in WV since June. I am currently in the middle of a custody battle and trying to convince the courts that it is not in the best interest of the child to be taking these ADHD Medications for correctable misbehavior. I am in need of a doctor/Psychiatrist that shares your insight and passion into the mental development of a child without what I feel as dangerous drugs. I need someone to evaluate my wonderful 4 year old daughter as a second opinion to her ADHD diagnosis that has been pursued by my wife and potentially testify in a custody hearing on the dangers of these drugs and the processes of diagnosis and the benefits of alternatives to medication. I am reaching out to you because of your unique specialty in this field and your network of potential physicians and psychiatrists that may assist me locally in the Cumberland County, NC area.
