Question
Hello, I have two boys ages 8 and 5. Their mother and I separated 17 months ago and are now divorced. Since July, I have had 50% custody (alternating weeks) based on the recommendation of an esteemed custody evaluator. My ex (and her mother) continue to make the boys wear pull-ups at night rather than try to get them night-time potty trained. Since July I have been trying to train them. The younger son is usually dry 5 nights/week. The older son was dry only once. My ex won't listen to anyone but her mother. I explained a bet wetting pad & alarm, and he is willing to try it when he's with me. How can my ex and I co-parent for the benefit of the children (such as on this issue) when my ex will not try to do so?
