Question
When our daughter was 18 she "ran away" from home to live with a 31yo man. Seven months later, after getting pregnant and being abused by him, she asked to come home. She is now 20, and her daughter is 7 months. She has lived with us for the past 11 months. She gives us $300 a month, pays for her cell phone, works 3 days a week, and goes to school 2 days a week, does her laundry, and helps with chores when I ask. My husband wants to monitor her texts, say who she can and cannot spend time with. He has also said no TV for our granddaughter, and no TV for our daughter until her homework is done. Should we be micromanaging like this?!
