Question
We recently found out our 18 year old daughter has been lying to us about a guy she likes from school. She planned to lose her virginity to him in the bathroom of a party he was at with another girl. She also admitted to sexting with him and helping him finish as well as she sent pictures to him from waist up. She kept up this lie for several months before the truth came out. We did NOT raise her this way. This transgression is now tearing our family apart. Her dad wants her out of the house and feels like she can't be "saved". I disagree. So far her phone and driving privileges have been revoked. More needs to happen but I don't know what or how she can regain our trust. Ideas on punishment or trusting her again?
