Question
My husband and I want to start giving our two children (ages 4 and 6) an allowance. We agree that they need to learn to manage money, but he thinks they should EARN the money they manage. He doesn't think it is right to just GIVE it to them. We don't pay them for their regular chores and they aren't quite old enough to do more difficult chores worthy of payment. How can we teach them to manage money and also teach them that money doesn't grow on trees?
