Question
We have a girl about to turn 4, want to start an allowance type system. Big Dave ramsey fan and he, like you, believes that certain chores should be done because you are a member of the family and offers "commissions" for jobs above and beyond (only get commissions if you do work, like life). How do I go about explaining what the allowance is for/why she is receiving it to 4 year old? Do you ever withhold allowance for not doing the routine expected household chores? Is the commissions idea too much for a four year old?
